Yoga at Kingsway

Yoga can be a very relaxing and restorative experience. It can also be more physically demanding and focused on fitness than meditation. Yoga classes with me are Ashtanga inspired with elements of core strength originating from Pilates. It is designed to improve the strength of each body component. As such, it is also excellent training for your mind in overcoming a physically demanding routine.

Who the class is for?

Everybody with sound strength fundaments would like to include strength and conditioning yoga in their fitness or sports routine. Beginners are welcome; however, you need to be up for a challenge.

When and where?

Wednesdays 19:15 at Kingsway Leisure Centre, Widnes
Classes are 60 minutes.

How much is it?

£8 – standard price per class

£4 (50% off) is for the following groups:
Members of Active Halton (Kingsway/Brookvale)
People training professionally or semi-professionally in any sport
People who are part of local sports teams (Cheshire/Merseyside)

£0 (100% off) is for the following groups (up to 8 sessions):
People diagnosed with cancer who a doctor has advised engaging in pre-habilitation exercises.
People diagnosed with Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis who are in clinical remission.

How to book?

No booking is required. I don’t expect it to be a big class. I see it more like small group workshops where each of you can focus on your strength and fitness goals. You pay by card/cash on arrival or after class. Before your first session, you will be asked to fill PAR-Q form. Or you can do it online by clicking here.
